NARCH: Research Fellowship Support

  • Funding provided for AI/AN graduate students in the biomedical and social sciences conducting scientific research under the supervision of an academic mentor.

  • The fellowship pays $24/hour up to $25,000 per year.

  • Fellows will receive a travel award to present their research at a scientific meeting.


To apply, please submit the following to Ashley Thomas via email

  • Completed application

  • Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) or proof of Tribal Enrollment

  • Cover letter describing your research

  • Name and contact information of your local academic mentor

  • Copy of your transcripts - Letter of recommendation from your academic mentor
